Thank you Jeff, this is an excellent idea.
Indeed we will include this feature to avoid losing the dwell selection inadvertently or because there was some involuntary eye movement detected in the eye tracking position.
It seems easy to implement (already did the change in the dwell algorithm and it works fine). We will do additional tests and release a new version with this feature in the next release planned next week.

June 9, 2014 at 10:21 pm #482Hi Jeff,
I will try to find a solution.
PierreJune 5, 2014 at 9:52 pm #479Thanks Richard
I will keep the dropbox link until I find a solution for this problem (use another download manager or use a CDN).
PierreJune 5, 2014 at 12:27 am #477Hi Richard, this is a dropbox link for download:

June 3, 2014 at 11:33 pm #475Richard, I changed the settings of the download manager. Could you try again ? Thanks
PierreJune 2, 2014 at 9:10 pm #472Hi Richard, I checked today with both internet explorer and chrome and the download was performed correctly on my PC. May be it was due to a workload peak on the server at the time you tried to download the file. By the way, where are you located ? (could it be a question of long distance ?) Could you try again: if the problem continues, I will find another solution to make the program available on another server or location.

May 21, 2014 at 10:40 pm #401Hi Karl,
Sorry, yes there is an issue with the SpeechPlatform which is not installed correctly with the installer:
I have added the speech platform in the download section and you will need to download and install the speech platform independently (at least Microsoft Speech runtime, but potentially also MSSpeech_SR_en-GB_TELE.msi and MSSpeech TTS_en-GB Hazel.msi).I will provide a new version this week-end to fix this problem and add support of the Tobii Eye X tracker.
Sorry again for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback.
PierreMay 21, 2014 at 3:58 pm #397Hi Karl, I changed the settings of the download plugin : tell me if it works now
PierreMay 20, 2014 at 9:23 pm #395Hi Karl, I checked your account: it’s ok, you should be able to post in the forums. Did you confirm your email by clicking on the link sent by the site when you registered ?
Download the install file (setup.exe) should work. However, usually there is a warning error when you download an exe file and you must confirm you want to keep the file and run the install.
In windows 8, there is a warning message “windows has protected your computer” and you must click on “additional information” and then “install” to complete.

May 13, 2014 at 10:50 pm #372Hi Jeff
Thanks a lot for your support and encouragement.
Yes I think that there are a lot of situations in complex disabilities where cheaper solutions than the current 5000 – 10000$ could significantly help the lives of many.
For example in autism and Rett syndrome, these systems are not widely used because they are expensive, not recognized as mandatory by caregivers or even useful and consequently they are not used to enhance the level of interactions for these patients.
We believe that generalization of low-cost eye tracking systems will open new opportunities for many people.
